The examination of the urinary sediment a 64-year-old woman showed presence three different types crystals, all with unusual morphology, which could not be identified bright field microscopy, polarized light, and knowledge urine pH (7.5). use microscopic infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy energy dispersive X-ray led to identification crystals as calcite, vaterite aragonite, are variants calcium carbonate crystals. This paper confirms complex morphology nature that may at times have utility advanced techniques for their identification.
